General terms and conditions for renting cottages, lodges, and tents

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The tenant, signatory of this contract concluded for a fixed term, may not under any circumstances claim any right to remain in the premises at the end of the rental period.

GOOD TO KNOW

A dog lives on the estate year-round. She is friendly with humans and other dogs. However, we ask that you refrain from feeding her.

ARE PROVIDED

Bed sheets and towels.

Essential items (salt, pepper, olive oil, toilet paper, shower products, dishwashing liquid, and dishwasher detergent).

Each accommodation has basic kitchen utensils and a coffee machine.

The tents and lodges do not have heating! The estate is located at an altitude of 800 meters, so nights can be cool, even in the middle of summer.

RESERVATION

Reservations can be made via the website, by email, or by phone.

The reservation will only be confirmed after receipt of the deposit (representing 30% of the total cost of the stay, excluding tourist tax).

You will find the bank details below. PLEASE NOTE: new bank details!

The balance of the rental will be paid during the stay by bank transfer, credit card, or cash.

DEPOSIT

Upon arrival, the tenant agrees to pay the owner the balance of the rent and to provide a security deposit check for €350. This will be returned to the tenant upon departure, provided no damage is found.

CANCELLATION

Any cancellation must be notified as soon as possible by email or by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt addressed to: Le Domaine de la Done – Charlotte Lannou – Lieu dit La Boucoule – 26570 Montbrun les Bains.

For any canceled stay, the following conditions apply:

  • between 30 and 15 days before the stay, you will be liable for 30% of the accommodation cost (equivalent to the deposit)

  • between 14 and 5 days before your stay, you will be liable for 60% of the accommodation cost

  • between 4 and 1 day before the stay or on the day of arrival, interrupted or not consumed, you will be liable for 100% of the accommodation cost

If the Lessor cancels the rental, they will be obliged to reimburse the tenant for the amount paid.

All extras (mini-bar, pizza night, etc.) or other services requested by participants in addition to those included in the quote must be paid for by them on site before their departure. In the event of non-payment, these services will be billed to the customer, who is jointly and severally liable for their payment.

TAXES

The tourist tax is set by the Baronnies en Drôme Provençale community of municipalities according to a calculation method that varies depending on the length of stay and the number of occupants. The tourist tax will be added to the final bill.

INSURANCE

The tenant certifies that he/she is covered by civil liability insurance covering his/her liability.

COMPLAINTS

Any complaints regarding a stay must be sent by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt within 30 days of the stay to the following address: Le Domaine de la Done – Lieu dit La Boucoule – 26570 Montbrun les Bains  

MISCELLANEOUS

1. Alcohol and cigarette consumption: Parties are prohibited on the premises. It is strictly forbidden to be intoxicated anywhere on the premises.

Smoking is prohibited inside the lodges, tents, and cottages.

All our accommodations are equipped with terraces and private outdoor areas where smoking is permitted, provided that no cigarette butts are left behind.

Please be especially careful with heat and fire.

2. Your "nature-filled" stay: You have chosen to stay in the heart of a natural estate. During your stay, when traveling and walking around, we ask that you respect the peace and cleanliness of the site. The Domaine de la Done is supplied solely by a natural spring. We ask that you be particularly mindful of this precious resource and above all not to waste it. Thank you in advance for your understanding!

On the day of your departure, accommodations must be vacated by 10 a.m. You are asked to leave the place clean, remove the sheets from the beds, and empty the trash cans.

3. Responsibilities: Children remain under the full responsibility of their parents throughout their stay. Access to the pool is regulated:

• All children must be accompanied by an adult.

• Opening hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

• Access to the pool is strictly prohibited to all non-residents.

• We ask that you be particularly quiet during siesta time between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. for those who wish to rest.

4. Internet Trust Charter: In certain areas of the domain, you have free access to the internet. However, users agree to comply with French law.
